A financial advisor since 1997, Peter Gore carries both the Chartered Financial Analyst® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designations, and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Peter is committed to ensuring that his clients fully understand the investment process and believes that an ongoing collaborative approach is essential to helping clients reach their goals.
In keeping with his commitment to financial education. Peter served 8 years as an adjunct professor at the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary, working with the undergraduate students and MBA program. As part of the undergraduate curriculum, Peter co-taught the Student Managed Investment Fund and mentored William & Mary’s CFA Global Investment Challenge. Within the MBA Program, Peter taught the CFA Institute’s Ethics curriculum for the Level I exam. Outside of class, he has been a volunteer instructor with the Christopher Wren Association for Lifelong Learning.
In his spare time, Peter has served on the board of directors of several non-profit groups as a board member and officer. He served 12 years with the Heritage Humane Society and held all four officer positions, served on the board of Art Services International, a non-profit traveling exhibitions organization in Alexandria, VA for 9 years and the CFA Society of Virginia (cfavirginia.org) for 3 years. Currently, Peter serves on the board of Child Development Resources in Williamsburg, VA (since 2016, cdr.org).
